The address all (D_AddressAll) featureclass is derived by combining the land_AddressPoints featureclass with all AddressUnit records related to address points using the related point coordinate location. The resulting data contains all unit addresses as points stacked on top of the address points resulting in a representation of all addresses throughout Whatcom County.
This underlying land_AddressPoints and land_AddressUnits data is maintained by city staff primarily in the Fire Department and Police Department WhatComm dispatch group with input from addressing stewards throughout the county. The purpose is to have a complete list of all valid addresses throughout the county. The data functions as the master addressing source for the various city systems. The data is rebuilt through an automated process that runs every evening.
