This point feature class is a collection of water meters or water shut off locations found within the City of Bellingham's water distribution system.
The data was developed to represent the location of water meters or water shutoff locations for the purpose of mapping, analysis, billing, planning and maintenance of utilities. The accuracy of this data varies and should not be used for precise measurements or calculations. A large majority of the attribute information associated with a meter is populated each night via a script with data from Eden (Utility Billing System). Eden information is considered the source of record for the following fields (aka fields overwritten each night): BILLING_LOCATION, ACCOUNT_TYPE, ACCOUNT_TYPE_DESCRIPTION, CYCLE_CODE, MAIN_ADDR_DISP, METER_NUMBER, METER_SIZE, METER_BRAND, READ_TYPE, RADIO_TYPE, ROUTE_NUMBER, CUSTOMER_ID.
